Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has repeatedly opened up about how his wife, Brittani, has profoundly changed his life both on and off the field. Yet beyond her name, details about the star signal-caller’s elusive spouse remain scarce.
Speaking to reporters at Steelers training camp last month, Rodgers revealed that Brittani played a pivotal role in his decision to play this season, which he confirmed will be his last before retiring. "I thought last year might be it," the 42-year-old admitted.
"And then Mike got hired, and I talked to the wife, and she said, 'You can do one more year, see if it works out,' and then it all came together."

Rodgers additionally credited Brittani with giving him the strength to reunite with his family following a years-long estrangement.
“A big part of it was getting married and having those conversations with my wife,” Rodgers told NFL Network's Kyle Brandt. “That allowed me to kind of open up to the possibility of coming together.
“I'm happy to be reunited. And that part of my life is a really beautiful addition. I got to give my wife a lot of credit — not that she was pushing me, because she never was — but just the way that she loves and supports me.
“Having her by my side during this process has been really special. And I missed those relationships, and there were reasons for it that don't need to be talked about. But I'm thankful that that's come all the way back around.”

While Rodgers has time and again spoken glowingly of Brittani, little else is known about her or their relationship. The 10-time Pro Bowler appears determined to guard his privacy, firmly pushing back against reporters who attempted to pry into his personal life.
"It's a sick society, isn't it? I lived in the public eye for 20 years, I had public relationships," Rodgers vented on 'The Pat McAfee Show' last June.
"How did that work out? I had people leaking my home information and making up stories that we bought a house together. I had people calling the paparazzi, I had people posting my personal life on the internet. I didn't want any of that, didn't like any of that.
"Now I'm with somebody who's private, who doesn't want to be in the public eye, didn't sign up to be a celebrity, doesn't want to be a part of it.

Rodgers’ desire to keep Brittani out of the spotlight has drawn mixed reactions, as DVE's Randy Baumann questioned why the four-time MVP repeatedly brings her up if he doesn’t want her identity to attract attention.
"So like there's the weird thing here about all of this to me, which is that he constantly says he doesn't want people to pay attention to him," Baumann said. "And then he does things that require you to talk about him.
"And he says he doesn't want people to bother his wife. And then he constantly brings her up as the reason why his life is changing for the better, which, you know, good, great, I'm glad. But there is a contradiction there big time."
