Ariana Grande is apologizing to fans over some "unfortunate" changes to her tour schedule.
The "Wicked" star, 33, on June 29 shared an Instagram post from Brooklyn's Barclays Center announcing that her Eternal Sunshine Tour stop there that was originally scheduled for July 12 has been postponed to July 14 "to ensure the full production can be delivered safely and as intended." Tickets will be honored for the new date.
At the same time, Grande also pushed back a pair of performances at the TD Garden in Boston: Her concert that was scheduled for July 22 was moved to July 23, while her show that was set for July 24 will now take place on July 26.
In a message to fans posted to her Instagram story, the pop star said she is "so sorry for these unfortunate" scheduling changes, which she said were due to production challenges.
"This was our best and safest option as these challenges with production have come to our attention," she wrote. "The utmost important thing to us all is safety, first and foremost, and also making sure you all see the show how it is intended to run."

She added, "Thank you so much for your understanding and I cannot wait to see you."
Grande's other Brooklyn shows will still move forward as originally scheduled. The Grammy winner is set to play five concerts at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn beginning on July 13 before heading to the TD Garden in Boston on July 23. Outside of the Boston performances that were rescheduled, she also has a show there on July 25 that was unaffected by the delays.
Grande kicked off her Eternal Sunshine Tour on June 6 with a series of shows in Oakland, California. It's the pop singer's highly anticipated return to touring, seven years after she wrapped her Sweetener World Tour in 2019. In the time since, Grande has continued releasing new music while leaning more into her acting career, earning her first Oscar nomination for her role as Glinda in the first "Wicked" movie.

In her review of the Eternal Sunshine Tour, USA TODAY national music writer Melissa Ruggieri described the singer's nearly two-hour show, which boasts a "lavish production interspersed with numerous outfit changes" and a setlist spanning most of her music career, as a "well-earned victory lap" and "a welcome homecoming."
The tour is in support of Grande's seventh studio album, "Eternal Sunshine," which she'll soon follow up with a brand new record, "Petal," on July 31. The Eternal Sunshine Tour is set to wrap in September after a series of performances at London's O2 Arena.
