Malaki Starks is a married man!

The Baltimore Ravens safety tied the knot with his longtime love, Savanna Jackson, on Friday, March 20, in a place that felt "like home" — Little River Farms in Milton, Georgia. After touring the family-owned facility first, the couple, both 22, canceled their remaining venue tours because the space "just felt like us." Heavenly hydrangeas, baby blue details and vintage gold decor complemented the farm's "classic and timeless vibe."

"Our wedding is most definitely a dream come true," Jackson exclusively tells PEOPLE. "It's also a timeless event that we can look back on forever and see the love through the photos. It is an intimate day at a beautiful location with people who are just as excited as we are."

The wedding was child-free and attended by 140 guests.

"When planning our day, we envisioned an intimate ceremony that allowed us to celebrate our love surrounded by people who supported us and our love throughout our entire journey," says Jackson, who met Starks in the fourth grade. The best friends eventually became boyfriend and girlfriend, and got engaged on Oct. 25, 2024, at their favorite secluded getaway, The Westin Chattanooga in Tennessee.

For Jackson, who planned the wedding on her own, organizing her big day was "pure bliss." Having full control allowed her to completely bring her and Starks' vision to life with many personal touches. A few special details included using preserved flowers dating back to their middle school romance, honoring loved ones with a memory table, and featuring snippets from love letters over the years on napkins.

The couple skipped having a first look so that they could have that wow moment during their ceremony, where they exchanged handwritten vows. The ceremony was also unplugged (phone-free) so that everyone could "be in the moment" with them.

Jackson walked down the aisle as Patrick Watson's "Je te laisserai des mots" played. She wore a "timeless and simple" wedding dress designed by Justin Alexander, and recalls experiencing that "say yes" feeling she "always dreamed of" when she tried the dress on for a second time. Later in the night, the bride changed into a different dress from Georgia-based bridal shop Dressing Dreams. Her hair was styled by Jocelyn Norton, owner of JocSalon, and her makeup done by McKenzie Bone, lead artist and owner of McKenzie Bone Artistry.

Starks and his groomsmen wore Brian Alexander Bespoke suits.

"Getting married for us means choosing each other every day for the rest of our lives and vowing to continue being each other's best friend and support system through the highs and lows of life," Jackson says.

After the ceremony, the couple swayed to "Stand by Me" by Ben E. King before slicing into a small, two-tier vanilla and red velvet-flavored wedding cake just for them.

Guests dined on a buffet of buffalo chicken spring rolls, white bean sun-dried tomato bruschetta, and franks in a blanket for their hors d’oeuvres before being served a garden salad, green beans, whipped buttermilk potatoes, collard greens, sous vide sirloin and rosemary citrus roasted chicken for dinner. Afterward, they enjoyed cupcakes and a dessert bar featuring treats such as Oreo cheesecake and pecan pie from Mady Cakes Bakery.

The newlyweds will celebrate their marriage with a mini honeymoon in Puerto Rico, and will go on a longer honeymoon later this summer. Their next chapter also consists of spending more time together and eventually starting a family of their own.

"We are most excited to share a last name and begin our future together," Jackson says. "It is a symbol of a new chapter of our lives that we could not be more excited for."
