Bobby Flay told Katie Lee Biegel during an appearance on the Bobby on the Beat podcast that he and girlfriend Brooke Williamson "cook together all the time"

"It was a dream come true," he shared of manning the kitchen alongside his romantic partner on New Year's Eve

Flay continued, "Every once in a while, Brooke will just say, I got this and she'll just cook. Or sometimes we cook together, which we did on New Year's Eve, which was really fun."

Bobby Flay knows he can count on a romantic partner and cooking partner in Brooke Williamson.

During the Monday, Feb. 9, episode of his podcast, Bobby on the Beat, Flay, 61, explained to his co-host, Katie Lee Biegel, 44, why he sees merit in Williamson as a chef, a profession she has held for decades, having first appeared on Top Chef in 2012, and then winning in 2017.

"I actually love that Brooke and I cook together all the time," Flay explained to Biegel, who replied, "I bet you guys have fun."

"She's a wonderful cook," Flay continued, to which Biegel retorted, "I was watching that Instagram of you all cooking together on New Year's Eve ... And I thought, 'Oh, this is it.' "

"It was a dream come true," he shared, with Biegel echoing, "Yes. You guys looked like you were having so much fun together."

Flay highlighted, "We were. First of all, she's so talented. And so that's fun for me because sometimes I can just kind of stand by and watch."

Biegel then posed a jestful question to the iconic chef: "What's it like for you having somebody who's just as good, if not better, cooking with you?" To which Flay responded, "I love it because, as you know, I cook for my friends and my family all the time. There's always something happening in my kitchens no matter where I am. And every once in a while, Brooke will just say, I got this and she'll just cook. Or sometimes we cook together, which we did on New Year's Eve, which was really fun.”

News of Flay and Williamson's relationship was made public in March 2025. "They have been friends for a while and recently decided to jump in," a source told PEOPLE at the time. "Her divorce last year probably gave them some additional shared experiences and over the last few weeks, love bloomed."

Williamson initially rose to fame after securing a win during season 14 of Top Chef in 2017. However, it wasn't until 2021 that she began working with Flay, serving as a judge on his reality competition series, BBQ Brawl.

Though Flay is quick to praise Williamson's culinary prowess, he's equally quick to praise her beauty as well.

Taking to his Instagram Stories on Thursday, Jan. 22, to respond to fans’ queries about Beat Bobby Flay, the Food Network star was asked, “If Brooke had a signature dish, what would it be?” To which Flay replied “Her intoxicating eyes.."

“And she can cook almost anything,” he continued at the time. “She doesn’t have one dish that I’d consider her signature.”
