Brenda Song is airing her travel woes following a flight booking snafu.

The Disney Channel alum took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday to call out Alaska Airlines for giving away her first-class tickets she bought months in advance and subsequently separating her family from each other on a flight.

“I didn’t know when you book your first class tickets 6 months in advance for your family of six for your son’s birthday — @alaskaair can just give away your seats the morning of with no warning — splitting up you and your 3 and 4 year old kids,” she wrote in a since-expired Instagram Story, adding, “We will never fly @alaskaair again and neither should you.”

Alaska Airlines told PEOPLE in a statement that Song and Culkin's family's experience is "unacceptable and not reflective of the care" they aim for. "Traveling can be stressful, especially with young children, and we pride ourselves on being a top airline for traveling families,” the statement continued. “We are deeply sorry for adding friction to the experience."

The airline added that they contact Song and Culkin's family "to make it right," adding, "we appreciate that guests have a choice in the airline they select and we take our responsibility to deliver a safe, reliable, and caring experience every single time."

Song and Culkin met in 2014 but didn't begin dating until 2017. They welcomed their first child in April 2021 and got engaged less than a year later. "Macaulay and Brenda have loved being together as a family since welcoming Dakota," a source told PEOPLE in January 2022. "The engagement is the natural next step for them. In a joint interview with *Cosmopolitan** *published in January 2025, Song gave a brief update on a potential wedding. The *Suite Life *star said that she and Culkin "talked about eloping." “But I was like, ‘If we eloped, my mom would have a heart attack that she wasn’t going to be there....’ ”

Elsewhere in the interview, Culkin said, “I got your back no matter what. I’ll do whatever you say you want to do," adding, "I’m in this to the end, to the very end.”
