Catherine Zeta-Jones cozied up into a tiny cocoon dress while stepping out in Spain on September 29.
The Wednesday actress embraced an optical illusion LBD at a Kill Jackie press event.
Just days earlier, Zeta-Jones lit up a London red carpet in a sheer icy blue gown that was completely bedazzled in iridescent beads.
Catherine Zeta-Jones remixed the LBD with a dose of her signature gothic glamour as she attended a Kill Jackie press event in Spain on September 29. The Wednesday actress looked like she had built-in silky black wings as she stunned in an optical illusion minidress with a bold plunging neckline.

The Welsh star—who recently rang in her 57th birthday in a bright blue bathing suit for an ocean kiss with husband Michael Douglas—swapped out her warm-weather style for an edgy fall fashion moment. As she walked through Museo Vasco, Zeta-Jones looked like she was swaddled in a black silk cocoon, thanks to her little black minidress’s dramatic bell sleeves.
The cape-like design was attached to a tulip-shaped overlay over her skirt, creating a bubble-like effect when the Mask of Zorro actress raised her arms. A tiny black silk skirt could be seen underneath the folds of billowing fabric, contrasting the voluminous silhouette with a leg-baring design.

Zeta-Jones went monochromatic as she finished off her look with sheer black tights and pointed-toe black stilettos. She styled her subtle auburn-tinted long brunette hair in effortless middle-parted waves that grazed her chest. The Chicago actress embraced a moody palette for her glam, accentuating her features with a maroon-tinted smoky eyeshadow, sculpted cheekbones, and a swipe of deep eggplant-hued matte lipstick.

Zeta-Jones—who shares her lookalike kids Dylan, 26, and Carys, 23, with Douglas—turned heads with a sartorial 180 just a few days earlier. She lit up the Kill Jackie premiere in London in an icy blue sheer gown that was encrusted with iridescent beading. As she posed on the Curzon Bloomsbury red carpet, the Entrapment actress showed off her gown’s plunging ruched sweetheart neckline, which was partially obscured by a see-through asymmetrical cape.
The shimmering mesh capelet bared the left side of her décolletage, covering her shoulders and most of her form-fitting bodice with a diaphanous layer. Zeta-Jones’s floor-length sheer skirt was also dripping in beads, showing off a glimpse of her towering metallic silver platform-heeled sandals underneath.
