The MTV VMAs were filled with huge moments, from Madonna’s performance with Sabrina Carpenter and Charli XCX (followed by a near-sweep of all of her categories) to Kacey Musgraves’s Dolly Parton tribute to Taylor Swift’s historic win. It was a huge night for music! But it was also a huge night for anyone looking for some fall haircut inspiration.
It feels peak early ‘00s to look toward red carpet photos for your next haircut. I vividly remember bringing photos of Katy Perry’s rainbow hair to my hairstylist in hopes of receiving the same side-parted lob she had in 2010. And the VMAs are still providing that inspiration today, from Raye’s vintage-inspired bob to Ella Bright’s wavy lob.
