It’s the moment Hollywood has been waiting for. After a memorable season of historic wins and well-deserved recognitions, the 98th Academy Awards ceremony is here to bring it the season to a close.

Tonight, the film industry is back on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles to finally learn who will be taking home top honors in major categories. And if there were ever an evening to get all decked out in fancy finery, it’s definitely the Oscars.

As the final leg of the awards show circuit, the Academy Awards has a reputation for being one of the most glamorous red carpet events of the year—when the stars pull out all the stops and wear the blingiest jewels. Remember Angelina Jolie in those jaw-dropping emerald Lorraine Schwartz earrings? Or when Madonna wore $20 million dollars worth of Harry Winston diamonds in 1991? Byrne is wearing ayellow diamond and chocolate enamel design by Taffin by James De Givenchy, while Infiniti opted for a De Beers diamond piece and Goodwin chose a Sabyasachi creation. Other highlights include Best Supporting Actress nominee Wunmi Mosaku’s emerald David Yurman earrings, Zoe Saldaña’s Cartier necklace, and Rei Ami’s David Webb earrings.
