Chrissy Teigen is addressing criticism after sharing photos featuring a visible nipple.
The model told fans that she doesn't see her nipples as particularly "sexy or risqué."
Teigen has previously been open about her prior experiences with breast implants and surgery.

On Sunday, the model and entrepreneur shared a carousel of snaps from a photoshoot with fashion photographer Yu Tsai. The photos show Teigen, 40, wearing a sheer button-up blouse in which the outline of her right breast is visible. While some commenters called her out for the "risqué" nature of the photos, Teigen made it clear that she doesn't see her nipples as inherently sexual.
"I think because they have been cut into disks and reattached to my body like three times and also they’ve fed babies and stuff I really don’t think of nips (mine especially) as sexy or risqué," Teigen commented beneath her post. "But my apologies if you do."
She snarkily added, "I hope u will survive it... almost sure u will. Love u so much."

Fans were quick to flood the comments section with support for Teigen, celebrating her sassy response to critics.
"Yes ma'am free the nip," one user wrote.
Added another, "Flaunt 'em if you got 'em."
Others shared stories of their own experience with breast-related surgeries, praising Teigen for not backing down from the conversation.
“Girl, mine have been cut off, re-built out of my belly skin, and tattooed," one fan commented. "Nips ain’t nothing scandalous to me either!”
"Celebrate those nipples," another added. "My friend is currently without hers post double mastectomy and it makes her sad."

Teigen's husband, John Legend, weighed in as well, commenting with a simple heart-eyed emoji.
Over the years, Teigen has been candid about her relationship to her breasts, including her decision to get implants, which she later had removed.
"I’ve had my boobs done three times," the mom of four confessed during a January 2024 visit to Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "I’ve had a lift, a put in, a take them out."

Teigen first revealed she had breast implants in March 2020, while announcing on Instagram: "I’m getting my boobs out!"
She explained, "They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it. I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie! So don’t worry about me! All good. I’ll still have boobs, they’ll just be pure fat."

Teigen, who made her modeling debut in the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, later told Glamour UK that the implants were for "a swimsuit thing."
She added, "I thought if I'm going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky! But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed."
Teigen shares two sons — Wren, 3, and Miles, 8, — and two daughters — Esti, 3, and Luna, 10, — with Legend.
