Sharing the clip on Instagram on Thursday, Feb. 5, Cruz hinted that the ladies could be the "openers" for his upcoming music tour

The post comes amid Victoria and her husband David's rift with their eldest son, Brooklyn, 26

Cruz Beckham joined his mom, Victoria Beckham, and her Spice Girls bandmates for a special sing-along amid the ongoing family tension with his brother, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham.

On Thursday, Feb. 5, Cruz, 20, shared a video on Instagram of himself belting out the Spice Girls' 1998 song "Viva Forever," as his mother Victoria and her bandmates — Melanie "Mel C" Chisholm, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Emma Bunton — joined in. Melanie “Mel B” Brown didn't appear in the clip.

Cruz captioned the post, "i think i found my openers… you think they have potential?" appearing to reference his upcoming tour, which includes stops in U.K. cities, as well as dates in Paris, Amsterdam, and Berlin.

Cruz added, "Something exciting coming later today ;) keep an eye out and get involved ❤️"

The musician's girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, also appeared toward the end of the clip, smiling as the camera panned towards her.

At the end of the performance of "Viva Forever," Cruz put his two thumbs up for the camera, as his mom Victoria hugged Mel C, and the girls all cheered. The duet follows a video Cruz shared back in November showing him playing guitar and singing along to the same song with his mom.

The Spice Girls' latest get-together comes after 51-year-old Victoria shared a photo of them on Instagram to mark Bunton's 50th birthday on Jan. 21. The girls, minus Mel B, were among those celebrating the occasion at a party in the Cotswolds, England, on Jan. 24.

Victoria captioned a photo of them on Jan. 25, "Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul @emmaleebunton I love you girls so much @gerihalliwellhorner @melaniecmusic xxxxxxx"

Cruz's latest Instagram clip comes after Victoria and David Beckham's son, Brooklyn, 26, made a series of shocking statements about his parents on his Instagram Stories last month.

Among Brooklyn's claims were comments condemning his family’s alleged treatment of his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, whom he married in April 2022.

He wrote, “The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose and have found peace and relief. My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family."

Later in his statement, Brooklyn wrote, "I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed."

“I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life," he insisted.

Last May, a source told PEOPLE that David and Victoria were unhappy with the rift with their son. "The relationship is definitely not beyond repair," an insider said at the time.

"They love and are always there for [Brooklyn]. They’re just hurt and disappointed that he’s now playing no part in family life," they added.

Last month, a source with knowledge of the situation then told PEOPLE, “David and Victoria have repeatedly asked Brooklyn and Nicola to meet and talk in order to move forward."

"David loves his kids," the insider said of Brooklyn and younger sons Romeo, 23, and Cruz and daughter Harper, 14. "They are his everything."

However, Brooklyn's social media statement claimed otherwise, noting that he and Nicola traveled to London for David's 50th birthday last year but were "rejected" by Victoria and David.

Though Brooklyn has firmly drawn a line in the sand, “David and Victoria believe that over time Brooklyn will come back,” a family source tells PEOPLE. “But they can’t do anything until then.”
