Donald Trump spent much of Saturday posting a string of bizarre images on Truth Social, as critics note there appears to be a pattern to the president's social media behavior.

The 80-year-old commander-in-chief turned to his social media network in the early hours of Saturday to post four pictures showing him touring George Washington around the opulent $400million White House ballroom currently under construction. As the day progressed, Trump uploaded two more images featuring himself with the founding father.

One depicted Trump seated at a desk alongside the nation's first president, appearing to sign what looked like a map. The second showed both men on horseback, with the White House standing in the distance.

On the same day, the president also share a black and white image of himself wearing a "Trump 2028" cap. The image featured text that read, "We are going to win."

The posts marked just the latest in a series of unhinged weekend social media sprees by Trump.

"It’s become a pattern for Trump to post all sorts of crazy stuff on Saturdays," independent journalist Aaron Rupar noted as he shared screenshots of some of the posts on X.

"Gramps loves Saturdays because he can sit on the couch all day and explore the depths of Reddit with Nurse Nat," one X user commented. "It's Alzheimer's Saturday," a second wrote.

"He earns weekend screen time if he does all his homework," a third joked. "Well, his babysitters need a day off, lol," a fourth said.

The president does appear to post some of his most unhinged content on Saturdays. Last Saturday, Trump shared several apparently AI-generated images with military drones, armed personnel, and trucks stationed on the roof of the White House ballroom he is trying to build.

The Saturday before that, he made at least 25 posts about the war in Iran, the renovations at the White House, and mocked Bruce Springsteen in a barrage that lasted just an hour.

One of those posts included an AI-generated image of Trump wearing Elvis Presley’s skin-tight American Eagle jumpsuit, famously featuring a deep collared V-neck to display his chest.
