DeGeneres honored Jenner by sharing a hilarious candid video of her on Instagram

Ellen DeGeneres is celebrating Kris Jenner's 70th birthday, all the way from her home in the United Kingdom.

The Kardashian-Jenner family matriarch marked her 70th birthday on Wednesday, Nov. 5.

DeGeneres, 67, who often interviewed the birthday girl on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, gave Jenner a shoutout on her special day by posting a candid video on Instagram.

In the behind-the-scenes clip, Jenner appeared to be deep in sleep while lying on a sofa.

DeGeneres, lying on the other side, sang along to the Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak (Silk Sonic) track "Leave the Door Open" as it played on a television in the background.

With less than a foot between them, the former television host whispered every word into Jenner's ears as she remained motionless.

It wasn't until the bridge of the song that a spooked Jenner opened her eyes and remained speechless as she turned to look at DeGeneres.

As she began to fully wake up, Jenner looked at the person filming the video before pausing to ask, "What the f--- is wrong with you people?"

The video ended with Jenner stretching as DeGeneres and the person filming the video — whose identity was not disclosed — could not contain their laughter.

"Happy birthday, Kris. I wish I could wake you up like this every day. @krisjenner," DeGeneres captioned the post.

Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian both said they were "crying." Zoe Saldaña wrote, "Hahahahahahahahahahaha the best! 🎂."

Jay Shetty chimed in with, "😂😂😂 love this," while Malika Haqq added, "Amazing 🤣." Jenna Dewan also commented, "😂😂😂😂."

Ahead of her 70th birthday, Jenner underwent a second facelift, courtesy of Dr. Steven Levine in New York City.

She received her first facelift procedure in 2011, which was documented on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

As for how Jenner will be spending her special day, a family source told PEOPLE that her kids have been "planning a special family celebration" for months now, as she's "excited about turning 70."
