The moment Bridgerton fans have all been waiting for has finally arrived, and they are totally freaking out about it.
Netflix dropped the first official trailer for Bridgerton Season 4 Part 1, giving viewers a sneak peak at the upcoming episodes. In traditional Bridgerton fashion, this season shifts the focus to the second eldest sibling, Benedict Bridgerton, a notoriously content bachelor with no intentions of settling down. Until, that is, he crosses paths with Sophie Beckett, and a Cinderella story unfolds.
Naturally, fans raced to Reddit to congregate and break down every detail, and it was a matter of minutes before threads were bursting with emotional reactions, hopes for the new episodes and fan theories about what's to come.
"Woooh it looks so good, Benedict teaching dance to Sophie looks soo romantic.. and the kite scene looks so sweet and cute. uhh can't wait!!! the yearning is real," wrote one devoted Redditor.
And as they began to dig deeper, it was specific moments and noteworthy lines that made their excitement bubble to the surface.
"'He does not want to find me. He wants to find the lady in the silver gown...and she is not real.'" wrote one fan, quoting Sophie Beckett's line from the trailer. "Just this line and I'm sold. Don't even care what other plot lines there are. Give me the yearning, the heartache, the inner conflict, the self-denial."
"The shaving cream fight between Ben, Colin, and Gregory looks so cute and funny. And I love Pen and Eloise calling out Ben," added another fan.
Of course, other fans took notice of smaller moments that appeared in the trailer, including what appears to be another steamy carriage scene between Season 3's leading lovers, Colin and Penelope Bridgerton.
"Polin in the carriage is going to be amazing, I can’t wait. This whole trailer looks pretty great! I’m excited to see the season," one fan wrote.
"I prayed for times like this 😭" another fan said.
"I told myself I was going to manage my expectations but WTH that was such a good trailer!! I need it now 😭❤️" chimed in another Redditor.
