If you're unfamiliar with the Yahoo Fantasy Football Expert League, let's fill you in a bit before we go over what was a wild Week 3. Yahoo Fantasy houses some of the leading analysts in the industry and we were fortunate enough to get all of them in a league for the 2026 NFL season. To keep you up to date on things, we'll be providing weekly recaps on all the action. Let's get into it.

Here's a look at how the Yahoo Fantasy Football Expert League standings look after three weeks.
The contenders are starting to take shape in the Yahoo Expert League after three weeks. All three of Matt Harmon, Scott Pianowski and Max Loeb remained undefeated while Hayden Winks bounced back in a big way. Winks was the victim of being high-scored in Week 2 but posted the highest point total in Week 3 with 132.6, thanks to strong games from Bo Nix, Jason Smith-Njigba and rookie RB Jeremiyah Love.
It was a tough break for Joel Smyth, who had the second most points in Week 3, but fell to 0-3 after the comeback by Winks. Smyth got huge performances from Jahmyr Gibbs and Harold Fannin Jr. but investing so highly in Giants' skill position players Cam Skattebo and Malik Nabers has been rough so far, particularly after Jaxson Dart went down for the season.

Smyth's team has performed better than the results; he ranks fourth in the league in points scored (366.72) but is in 11th place. His 422.58 points against is the most in the league.
Not everything went Winks' way. While he has the most points in the league, he lost De'Von Achane for the season after the star running back suffered a torn ACL, but he didn't let that stop him from celebrating a win.
Yahoo analyst Justin Boone continues to play in tight contests. After tying in Week 1, Boone had another close call in Week 3, squeezing out a victory over Ray Garvin by just over 3.0 points. Boone is still positioned well to compete with a solid core of George Kittle, Chris Olave, Drake London, Christian Watson and Jalen Hurts. The Kittle pick is paying dividends for Boone, with Colston Loveland off to a slow start.
