Al Roker is the proud father of three adult children!
Today’s longtime weatherman and anchor, who celebrates his 71st birthday on Aug. 20, 2026, welcomed his first child, daughter Courtney, with his late ex-wife Alice Bell in 1987. After they split in 1994, he married journalist Deborah Roberts a year later, and the couple welcomed daughter Leila in 1998 and son Nicholas in 2002. He also became a first-time grandfather in 2023, when Courtney and her husband Wesley Laga had their daughter, Sky Clara Laga.
“These three people, or however many you have, are your hearts beating outside your body and so you’re constantly worried for them,” he told Today.com in 2023 of his experience with fatherhood. “It’s the old adage, ‘little kids, little problems; bigger kids, bigger problems.’ ”
