The actor and sculptor, who played the Marv in the first two Home Alone movies, faced one misdemeanor charge of engaging or agreeing to engage in prostitution stemming from an incident in December. Now, court records indicate the charge has been dismissed in a Ventura County, Calif., court.
Representatives for Stern did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly's request for comment.
"The case was dismissed with prejudice as it should have been from the start and we're very pleased," Stern's attorney, Blair Berk, told the California Post.
Stern was issued a citation, but not arrested, after police performed a sting operation at a hotel in Camarillo, Calif., on Dec. 10, Deadline reported. He was charged on Jan. 12, and the case was ultimately dismissed on Friday.

"The defendant did what he was supposed to do," a representative for the Ventura County District Attorney's Office told TMZ. "He completed his education class and earned a dismissal. This is our standard disposition for first-time prostitution offenses."
Stern could have faced six months in jail and up to a $1,000 fine if convicted.

EW previously reported that Stern had been cast in a supporting role in the ABC sitcom Do You Want Kids?, but left the project shortly after he was charged last month, and the show subsequently recast the role.
Stern was previously set to play the family patriarch in the comedy series, which stars Rachel Bloom and Rory Scovel as the central couple.
Stern has recently appeared on shows like For All Mankind and Shrill. He previously provided the voiceover narration for the original Wonder Years.
On the big screen, Stern acted opposite Billy Crystal in the Western comedies City Slickers and City Slickers 2: The Legend of Curly's Gold. He also appeared in Barry Levinson's Diner and Woody Allen's Hannah and Her Sisters.

Stern has primarily focused on sculpting in recent years, and revealed that he is immortalizing one of his most iconic Home Alone moments in a project for the current owners of the Illinois house that served as a primary filming location for the original 1990 holiday comedy.
"I got a call from the people who own the Home Alone house," the actor told PEOPLE in December. "They asked if I would do a sculpture for the house. So I'm creating a sculpture of me and the spider."
