The Traitors winner Rob Rausch has paid the price for his trickery.
The reality star has finally given finalist Maura Higgins the Birkin bag that he promised her as an apology present for betraying her in the season finale. And, as it turns out, her forgiveness definitely didn’t come cheap.
Rausch gifted Higgins the luxury item during the pair's visit to Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday. “Just let me put my gloves on,” he noted, before heading to a back area of the set to retrieve the handbag.

“See, this is my win!” Higgins excitedly told host Andy Cohen as she waited for her gift. “I knew I’d have my moment!”
When Cohen asked if there was any chance that Rausch may have selected a bag that she didn’t like, Higgins responded, “No, he knows what bag I want.”
Rausch then returned with an orange box, which he placed on his chair. “So I didn’t really know a lot about Birkins,” he prefaced as he began to unbox the bag with gloved hands. “No one has touched this bag! And then only the owner is supposed to touch it first.”

Rausch then gave the bag — a burgundy Hermès Togo Birkin 30 with gold hardware — to an overjoyed Higgins. The hefty handbag is estimated to cost in the ballpark of $16,000.
Higgins, in response, shot out of her seat and pulled him into a hug. “You’re forgiven!” she cheered.

“Thank you, thank you,” Rausch responded.

Higgins also took a moment thank their Traitors costar Lisa Rinna for her help securing the bag (literally). “She did help majorly, majorly,” Rausch agreed. Higgins added, “So, Lisa, thank you very much for this.”
Reflecting on the bag, Higgins said, “I love her. She’s beautiful. Guys, she’s beautiful, right?”
While a $16,000 Birkin certainly isn’t cheap, it’s only a small portion of the $220,800 that Rausch took home as the sole winner of season 4. In order to do so, he also had to betray singer-songwriter Eric Nam — a faithful whom he personally recruited to the traitors' side.
And, like Higgins, Nam recently told Entertainment Weekly that his forgiveness can also be bought — to the tune of a new Rolex watch. “I'm gonna campaign for a Rolex from Rob,” Nam said. “But yeah, I was like, ‘I’ll take Birkenstocks at this point — like, give me something!’”
He continued, “We were out the other night at the SNL party, and people came up like, ‘Did Rob get you anything? Did he buy you a drink?’ I was like, ‘This guy hasn't even bought me a drink yet.’ Like, come on, man! But here's the campaign for Rolex from Rob as retribution or something.”
