Influencer Lillian Droniak claimed that her retirement home threatened to kick her out for throwing “wild” parties
The 96-year-old, known on social media as Grandma Droniak, said she pays $12,000 a month to live in the retirement home
A rep for the influencer said in a statement to PEOPLE that the matter has since “been resolved with her nursing home”
An influencer is claiming that her retirement home issued a warning and threatened to kick her out over her partying ways.
Lillian Droniak, lovingly known to her millions of social media followers as Grandma Droniak, made the claim in a viral video shared on TikTok and Instagram on June 11. In the video, done in her usual sit-down style, the 96-year-old influencer claimed that her retirement home gave her a “formal warning” about throwing parties that violate the community’s rules.
“I'm getting kicked out of the nursing home. I just got this letter. It says you're getting kicked out if you don't stop the parties,” the nonagenarian began in the video before showing the letter’s contents to the camera.
In the letter and “formal warning,” an employee from the retirement home wrote to Droniak, “We are reaching out because there have been many noise complaints about your room. Parties are not allowed and you cannot serve alcohol to other residents. This is a safety concern.”
“While we encourage residents to socialize and enjoy community activities, we cannot have wild parties. It is shown on security footage that people were leaving your room at 1 a.m. last Tuesday,” the letter added.
“Continued incidents of this nature may result in restrictions on visitors and common area privileges, and could lead to further review of your residency status within the community,” the letter continued. “We kindly ask for your cooperation in ensuring future gatherings remain respectful of community rules and quiet hours. No more parties please.”

Responding to the warning in her viral video, Droniak appeared to be unfazed and content continuing her alleged party antics as usual. She also cited the price tag for living at the home as a reason why she will continue defying the alleged rules against partying.
“I could do what I want. I pay $12,000 a month to live here,” she said in the video. “I could party if I wanna.”
“My girlfriends are coming over tonight. We're gonna drink and gossip.” Droniak added before clarifying, “It's not a party, but we do get rowdy.”

She continued, “I can't help it. I love to party. You can't stop me."
Droniak also doubled down in a video shared the following day on June 12. “Hungover from last nights party,” she wrote in text over a clip of herself looking into a mirror, a martini glass visible on her dresser.
“My nursing home cant stop me from partying through the last chapter of life xoxo,” she continued in the caption.
Droniak has never shared the name of her retirement home, seemingly out of safety concerns.
A rep for the influencer said in a statement to PEOPLE that this "actually happened” and that the matter has since "been resolved with her nursing home." The home is "allowing her to still have people in her room until late," she just "can’t supply alcoholic drinks," per the rep.
Droniak, who has been posting online since as early as 2019, has been living in a retirement home for two years. She first announced that she had moved into a retirement home in June 2024 after falling and breaking her leg.
“I got put in a home. I need assistance. I don’t want to fall again,” she said in her first “get ready with me” video filmed in her new home at the time.
She has since chronicled the ups and downs of her social life in the retirement home, from her alleged bashes to drama involving her boyfriend and other romantic prospects. She celebrated her 96th birthday in the retirement home in March.
