Jerry O’Connell revealed on a podcast that his wife Rebecca Romijn uses crystal deodorant, which he says doesn’t work
Despite its ineffectiveness, O’Connell admitted he enjoys the natural scent of his wife, calling it “alive” and “funky town”

Jerry O'Connell is opening up about his wife's penchant for using crystal deodorant.
In a recent episode of the Thanks Dad with Ego Nwodim podcast, the 52-year-old actor shared of deodorant, "No offense to the roll-on deodorant industry —I don't think it works as well as spray."
"Well I have to tell you, my wife, Rebecca Romijn, rubs crystals under her arms," the actor added.

He continued: "And I'm here to tell everyone, it doesn't work."
"The crystals under the arms doesn't work," he said, quickly adding: "Now I don't mind the way my wife — it doesn't offend me. actually, ah — this is gonna get a little dirty — I kind of like it when I can smell my wife's body odor."
He added: "It's kind of like, yea — she's alive, we're alive, we're living."

"It's, like, a little kicking and like, it's a little funky town," he continued.

The Talk co-host and Star Trek actress married in July 2007. They welcomed twin daughters Charlie Tamara Tulip and Dolly Rebecca Rose one year later, in December 2008.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, O'Connell shared that Romijn harbored a secret early on in their courtship — that she was a big fan of his breakout role in the film Stand By Me.
When he first met Romijn's sister after months of dating, she broke the news.
"It's me, her younger sister and my wife, and her younger sister goes, 'You know Stand By Me is her favorite movie right?' We had been dating for months at this point, it's five months, and my wife had never mentioned it," he told PEOPLE.
He continued: "I went, 'What?' My wife was like, 'Shut up. Shut up.' And her younger sister was like, 'Stand By Me is her favorite movie. She had posters of it, all of her room. She saw it maybe a hundred times in the theater.' My wife was obsessed."
