Jodie Sweetin has never been one to bite her tongue when it comes to sharing her perspective, even when it comes to her highly scrutinized relationship with former sitcom sister Candace Cameron Bure.

During an appearance on the *Only Child With Bob the Drag Queen* podcast last month, host Bob the Drag Queen asked after Sweetin's current relationship with Bure and other *Full House* alum, including Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. While the Olsens have stayed out of the public eye in recent years, Sweetin and Bure's relationship has often made headlines thanks to the Great American Family channel star frequently courting controversy with her anti-LGBTQ+ stances.

"Candace has gone a little bit Dave Chapelle-y too..." Bob remarked, to which Sweetin diplomatically responded that Bure "does her thing and, you know, we sit on very opposite sides of things and I'm just, kind of, a loud outspoken bitch about a lot of things, and that's not going to stop me. And if that ain't you, that ain't you."

Bob quipped that if a movie were ever made about the many controversial actions of Donald Trump's second presidential administration, Bure would be good casting for White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.

"Those lips though, those lips," Sweetin shot back, referring to the rampant online speculation about whether Leavitt had gotten lip filler for a photo shoot with *Vanity Fair** *published in December*.*

Sweetin has long been an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, but despite their opposing views and perceived slights against one another, the *Fuller House* star has frequently made it clear that she has no ill will towards Bure.

During an appearance on *The Vault* podcast in April, Sweetin claimed that she and Bure have never "gotten into it" over their differing views, telling the host that although she and Bure have lived "very different...lifestyles," their relationship doesn't get contentious.

"We just exist in different worlds, but she is still someone I have known since I was 5 years old. It's like family members," she added. "Maybe we don't talk all the time, and I know if politics comes up, it is not going to go well, but I don't hate you. I am not going to not hug you, but I'm also not going to not keep my mouth shut. So that's what I did. That's how I look at it. You don't want to follow or whatever, that's cool."

"I'll be nice, but I will not be quiet," she concluded.
