Josh Duhamel is sharing how he and Fergie differed as a couple.

While a guest on *The Skinny Confidential* podcast on Monday, March 2, the *London Calling *star, 53, reflected on his past marriage to the former Black Eyed Peas singer, 50. The pair wed in 2009 before separating in 2017, and their divorce was finalized in 2019.

"We're just very different," Duhamel shared on the podcast. "We just have different views of the world, and that's okay."

Duhamel added he has "no regrets" about their time as a couple, noting the two share "a beautiful son" together, Axl Jack Duhamel.

The *Ransom Canyon** *star wed Audra Mari in North Dakota in 2022, and the two share a son together, Shepherd Lawrence, who was born in 2024. According to Duhamel, the model and former Miss World America shares a few traits with the "Pump It" megastar, as the two are "really, really great women."

"We have a good relationship. She and Audra have a great relationship," Duhamel also shared, complimenting her as being a "great mom" who is "very kind, very non-confrontational."**

When cohost Lauryn Evarts Bosstick compared the two relationships, describing Duhamel's marriage to Fergie as a "famous public marriage" and his current marriage to Mari as one that "seems very much grounded and wholesome," Duhamel made a point of noting that his ex-wife is similarly focused on a more balanced lifestyle.

“Fergie is also very wholesome, believe it or not, especially since she stepped away from it all,” he added.********

In a past interview for the *In Depth With Graham Bensinger *podcast, Duhamel said he had "made peace" with his eight-year marriage to the singer.

"We had a great time, but I think we kind of outgrew each other and had very different interests," Duhamel said, noting a return to his hometown of North Dakota was important to him. "The older I get, the more I wanted to come back here, and this is not for her. But I've got no hard feelings for it. I truly don't. I'm very lucky that she's a kind human. I think we both agree that we're very different people."**
