If you can’t find the perfect pair of shoes, just design them yourself—that’s what Kaia Gerber did. Working with Repetto, the model put her own spin on the brand’s classic Cendrillon ballet flat. Her version, appropriately coined the Kaia, is crafted from soft suede leather with a short block heel for a bit of elevation. And last night, she took a pair out for a spin.

Wearing the black variation, Gerber stepped out for dinner with fellow model Camila Morrone (who also sported a pair) at everyone’s favorite West Hollywood celebrity hotspot, Sushi Park.

Geber wore her ballerinas with a semi-sheer black lace blouse from Dôen, with ruffle detailing and a button-up fastening that Gerber left partway undone for a breezy ab-baring moment. For bottoms, she looked to her trusty Paloma Wool low-rise navy trousers—a pair she’s worn time and time again through the years.

Trying out a new sweater styling hack, she turned a soft royal-blue sweatshirt into a scarf, wrapping it around her shoulders just in case the night got chilly. And, of course, she grabbed her Gucci Jackie 1961 bag—another refresh of a classic, much like her ballet flats. Introduced for the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, the newly reimagined version of the bag is crafted from soft grainy leather with a worn-in, vintage-inspired treatment, and gold hardware. Gerber has been spotted carrying it since March.

Next to Gerber, Morrone paired her Repetto heels with a cozy gray sweater and relaxed trousers. She accessorized with a New York Yankees baseball cap and an oversize Chanel bag.
