Rep. Lauren Boebert ended a Fox News Digital interview after being asked about alleged romantic ties to her colleague, Thomas Massie
Boebert criticized the question as "sexist" and accused the reporter of seeking "clickbait" before walking away
Allegations surfaced from a woman who said she dated Massie, who claimed he boasted about a relationship with Boebert after his wife's death
Congresswoman Lauren Boebert shut down an interview with Fox News Digital after being asked about allegations she had a sexual relationship with Congressman Thomas Massie.
In the video interview, which was published on Sunday, June 7, Boebert, 39, was discussing recently ousted GOP representatives who had lost their primaries when she mentioned Massie, 55.
The reporter then began, "One of his exes was making headlines saying that you guys…" before Boebert cut him off.
"F--- you, first of all. If you're gonna bring me into this, like, this sexist stuff is out of control," Boebert said. "There's your clickbait that you were looking for. I don't wanna talk about anybody's exes and their crazy s--- that they do."
Boebert then ended the interview, walking away from the reporter.

Earlier in the interview, Boebert expressed regret that Massie, who was heavily opposed by President Donald Trump for his call to release the Epstein files and his opposition to the war in Iran, was not reelected.

"I think most of the folks that have lost their primaries, they were backfiring on the GOP agenda – [Bill] Cassidy, [John] Cornyn. Obviously, Thomas Massie's the only one that I'm a little sad about, but I think if you ask him, he's not sad at all that he's not coming back and is going to enjoy his last several months here," Boebert, who campaigned for Massie, said, adding, "Hopefully, he leaves here and makes some money."

In mid-May, Cynthia West, a former congressional staffer working for Massie's friend and colleague Rep. Victoria Spartz, claimed in an interview with Laura Loomer that she dated Massie in August 2024 after the sudden death of his wife of 30 years, Rhonda Kay Howard Massie, two months prior, per Newsweek.
During the interview, West claimed that Massie bragged to her about an alleged sexual relationship with Boebert one month after his wife's death. West said that Massie called Boebert "the hottest woman in Congress."

Per FoxNews, West also claimed that Massie offered her $5,000 to drop a wrongful termination lawsuit she was pursuing against Rep. Victoria Spartz, an ally of Massie. Massie called the allegations unsubstantiated, according to Newsweek.
PEOPLE has reached out to Massie, Boebert and Spartz for comment.
Boebert split from husband Jayson Boebert in 2023, and she has since begun a relationship with real estate broker Kyle Pearcy. Massie remarried to Carolyn Grace Moffa in 2025.
Massie lost his reelection campaign in late May to Trump-backed Ed Gallrein.
