Michael Douglas was joined by his daughter Carys Douglas at the inaugural Mallorca, Land of Honour awards on August 3.
He wore a navy suit while the budding actress wore a black strapless gown.

Actor Michael Douglas made a rare appearance with his 23-year-old daughter Carys Douglas at the inaugural Mallorca, Land of Honour awards on August 3. The actor, who owns a villa in the Spanish city, was named Terra d’Honor ambassador in Mallorca at the event, per Spanish outlet El Mundo.
The 81-year-old wore a simple navy suit and white shirt without a tie as he posed on the red carpet holding his daughter’s hand. Carys looked just like her mom, Michael’s longtime wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, in a strapless black top paired with a pair of long, wide-leg black pants that featured a delicate cutout pattern around the hem. She completed the simple look with strappy gold heels, a few gold cuff bracelets, and a gold choker necklace.

Carys, who graduated from Brown University last year, is reportedly already following in her parents’ footsteps. The 23-year-old moved to New York City to pursue acting and recently starred as Nina in a production of Anton Chekhov’s play The Seagull, put on by Solid Flesh Productions. Last month, the aspiring actress shared behind-the-scenes photos from the play, writing, “what a lovely time this was.”

Back in April, Zeta-Jones marked her daughter’s 23rd birthday by sharing a few rare photos.

“Happy Birthday Carys! May today and all days be [as] special as you. I love you. Mama❤️,” the actress wrote.
Michael also wrote a tribute, sharing a photo of himself and Carys. “Happy Birthday Carys! May YOUR new year bring you joy and inspiration. All the love in the world! @carys.douglas ♥️ Dad,” he wrote.
Back in 2023, Carys shared her own rare tribute to her father. “Today and everyday I look to you Dadda- in love and in gratitude ❤️ I love you @michaelkirkdouglas,” she wrote on Instagram.
Michael is also dad to eldest son, Cameron, whom he shares with his first wife, Diandra Luker. He and Zeta-Jones welcomed their first child, son Dylan, in August 2000, before Carys followed in April 2003. Both Cameron and Dylan are also actors like their parents.
