Michael J. Fox's daughter has a lot to celebrate this week!

On Monday, Nov. 3, the actor, 64, shared a set of sweet photos on Instagram: the first of his daughter Esmé watching the New York City marathon as a kid, and the second showing a now-adult Esmé running the race over the weekend.

The throwback photo shows Esmé sitting on her dad's shoulders, both wearing apparel from Team Fox (the community fundraising program of The Michael J. Fox Foundation), as the two cheer for runners passing by. In the present-day snap, Esmé spots her family mid-marathon and embraces Fox.

"Esme…then…and now- you did it! You are amazing, congratulations! Your dood is very proud, oh yea and happy birthday! 🧡," Fox captioned his post, also noting that his daughter was celebrating her 24th birthday.

Fox shares Esmé with his wife of more than 30 years, actress Tracy Pollan. The couple is also parents to son Sam, 36, and twin daughters Aquinnah and Schuyler, 30.

Last year, Fox shared another sweet tribute to his daughter on Instagram in celebration of her 23rd birthday.

"Esme, Happy birthday to our renaissance gal," Fox captioned the post. "You do it all."

He continued to express his love for her, writing, "Your Dood loves you very much. Who doesn’t? Keep living your best life. 😍♥️."

Last October, Fox revealed at a Back to the Future panel at Los Angeles Comic Con that he does not think his daughters have watched the 1985 movie.

"I don't know if my daughters have seen it," he told the audience.

Fox went on to speak about portraying multiple characters in the sci-fi comedy, saying, "We had expectations. We took that pretty seriously. We want to be great."
