The Becoming author has been serving several standout looks throughout the summer.

On June 24, she gave a nod to her husband, Barack Obama, with a custom white Fear of God T-shirt with the number “44” across the front, referring to the 44th president of the United States (Barack).

Styled by Meredith Koop, she paired the top with baggy white workwear trousers and topped off the ensemble with Aeyde sandals and Jacquie Aiche jewelry.

Days earlier, on June 16, she appeared at a stakeholders event at the Obama Presidential Center and honored another family member: her late mother, Marian Robinson, who died in 2024.

There, she wore a custom pencil skirt by Acne Studios featuring a portrait of her. The design, which was commissioned by Koop, got an emotional response from Barack.

“I am so proud of my husband,” Michelle said, per People. “He’s really messed up, I’m giving him some time, because this beautiful skirt that my stylist Meredith Koop picked out, that is a portrait, my favorite portrait of my mom, he didn’t know it existed until just a few minutes ago.”

And for an earlier podcast appearance in April, she mastered transitional dressing in a monochromatic brown from head to toe.

During the April 15 episode, she donned a sleeveless turtleneck sweater paired with flared pants and pointy heels. Her braids were worn in a low ponytail, and she accessorized with large gold earrings and rings.
