Nikki Garcia, known to WWE fans as Nikki Bella, has opened up about one part of professional wrestling she hopes to leave behind someday.

While discussing body image and wellness on the latest episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, the WWE veteran reflected on the pressure of performing on television and wearing revealing ring gear.

The comments arrive at an interesting time, with Nikki Bella currently at the center of a heated SmackDown rivalry against Paige following her shocking SummerSlam betrayal. Although her on-screen character has taken a darker turn, her latest remarks offered a more personal look behind the curtain.

Speaking on The Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki discussed today’s focus on wellness and questioned the pressure to meet unrealistic beauty standards. She explained that good health should matter more than chasing a specific clothing size.

“And I just think too the era we’re in of wellness of like who cares if you’re size zero? … It’s all about health,” Nikki said.

She admitted that appearing on television often leads to comparisons, adding that WWE attire can make those feelings even stronger. Nikki then revealed what she is looking forward to most later in her career.

“Sometimes I’ll give myself a hard time and that’s cuz I’m on TV and we’re getting compared and we have to be in little gear, which I will say that will be the most exciting time for me when I know I don’t have to be in little gear anymore.”

Nikki also shared that she underwent a full health assessment while preparing for her WWE return. The results changed how she views her body.

“They were like, ‘You hit every perfect number of being like a perfect healthy person.’ … ‘Why do I say mean things to my body? Like, I am so healthy.'”

For now, Nikki’s focus remains inside the ring. Following her return from a broken ankle, she is locked in a bitter feud with Paige on SmackDown after turning heel in the fallout from SummerSlam. While the storyline continues to heat up, Nikki’s latest comments remind fans that sometimes the toughest opponent isn’t across the ring — it’s self-criticism.
