Pop-rock family band "Hanson" singer Taylor Hanson was eliminated on "Yacht Rock Night," Tuesday night, Sept. 29, despite not being the lowest-scoring celebrity.
Hanson and dancing pro Britt Stewart danced the foxtrot to "What A Fool Believes," by The Doobie Brothers and earned 18 out of 30 points. Talk show personality and comedian Guillermo Rodriguez and pro Witney Carson scored 15 out of 30 points, but fan voting kept them in the competition.
Olympic skater Amber Glenn and pro Pasha Pashkov opened the night with a foxtrot to Toto's "Hold the Line." Their routine earned them the first three 8's of the season, totaling up to 24 out of 30 points.
"Glee" and "Grey's Anatomy" actor Harry Shum Jr. tied with Glenn at the top of the leaderboard. Shum and dancing pro Jenna Chmerkovskiy danced the jive to "You Make My Dreams (Come True)," by Daryl Hall & John Oates.
Week 4 of "Dancing with the Stars," is scheduled to air on Tuesday, Oct. 6, and will be themed "Mariah Carey Night," inspired by the singer-songwriter's hits.
