The influencer couple, known for their extraordinary travel adventures, welcomed baby No. 2 together, sharing the news exclusively with PEOPLE
The couple already shares one daughter, whom they welcomed in August 2023
Travel influencers Kelly and Kody have added another little adventurer to their family!
The couple, who tied the knot in October 2021 after a viral proposal underwater, welcomed their second baby together, another daughter, in December, sharing the news exclusively with PEOPLE. Kelly and Kody, both 39, tell PEOPLE that the first few moments with their little girl were "surreal."
"She is perfect!" the couple shares. "We have been so in love from the very moment we met her and our family feels complete now that she’s here."
The newly minted parents of two add, "We feel more confident and at ease about many things as parents since we have done it before and it makes everything so much easier."

"I heard from lots of people that being pregnant with a toddler is more difficult than having a newborn and a toddler, and I am here to say that I agree with that now," Kelly continues.
"So if there are any expecting mothers out there struggling to keep up with a very active toddler during their pregnancy, just know that it absolutely does get easier! In our opinion, going from one to two kids has been an easier transition than going from zero to one."

Kelly tells PEOPLE that her labor process was "super smooth." The Houston-based parents share that they were mostly concerned about getting to the hospital on time.
"We had a friend on standby to come to our house and stay with our toddler while we went to the hospital, so we would have to wait on her arrival and then make our way," they explain. "Luckily, labor started around 9:45 p.m., our friend was at our home around 10:30 p.m., then we labored at home until 1 a.m., when we made our way to the hospital after the contractions were consistently 7 to 8 minutes apart."
"There was no traffic at all at that time, and everything worked out perfectly!" the couple says. "After our arrival at the hospital, things progressed very quickly, and our baby girl was born in just 12 minutes!"

Kelly and Kody tell PEOPLE that their little one was "as ready to meet us as we were to meet her."
"Meeting her for the very first time was emotional in the best way and we find ourselves really soaking in all of these beautiful, small moments, especially since this is our last baby," they reveal.

The couple, who also share a daughter whom they welcomed in August 2023, tell PEOPLE that they try and include their older daughter in everything when it comes to the baby.
"She is obsessed with her sister and gets so excited to do things like when we ask her to help get baby’s blanket or help with baby’s diaper change (she just watches), but including her in as much as possible has really helped with the transition for her."
