The Derry SFC final will be a repeat of last year's decider as three-in-a-row chasing Newbridge and Magherafelt both advanced in this weekend's semi-finals.

At Owenbeg on Sunday, Newbridge impressed in a 2-16 to 1-10 victory over Glen.

The defending champions led by five at the break and goals early in the second period by Padraig McGrogan and Conor McAteer stretched their advantage as they played into the wind.

Conor Glass found the net for Glen, but his goal was unable to spark a revival as Newbridge marched on.

On Saturday, Magherafelt booked their return to the county showpiece with a 0-14 to 1-6 win over Slaughtneil.

Conall Higgins led the way with seven points for the O'Donovan Rossa side, who looked in control for most of the game.

A Slaughtneil fightback spurred on by a pair of two-pointers from Brendan Rogers and a Shane McGuigan goal whittled the gap to two, but Magherafelt held firm in the closing stages with Shane Heavron and Higgins landing scores.

It will also be a repeat pairing in the Fermanagh SFC final as defending champions Erne Gaels and Derrygonnelly both moved through.

The Belleek club's quest for three in a row continued with a 1-22 to 3-10 win over Ederney in Sunday's first semi-final.

Ultan Kelm found the net after just three minutes to get Belleek off to a flying start, but Ederney remained in the hunt and a Lughaidh Donnelly goal reduced the arrears to one and that remained the gap at the half thanks to Aogan Kelm's point.

Two-pointers from Ultan Kelm and Ryan Lyons extended the lead but quickfire goals by Shay Deazley and Paul McCusker edged Ederney ahead.

However, Erne Gaels responded well and booked their spot in the final, where they will face Derrygonnelly after they edged out Belnaleck 0-15 to 0-14.

Tyrone triumph for Eoghan Ruadh as Dunloy and 'Dall reach Antrim decider

Eoghan Ruadh won their first Tyrone hurling title in seven years, ending the run of Eire Og with a 1-16 to 2-10 win on Saturday.

The Dungannon side made a fine start but a 21st-minute goal by Cormac Munroe brought the defending champions level.

However, Eoghan Ruadh edged ahead by half-time with Cain Ferguson and Lorcan Devlin on target.

Cormac McErlean netted for the Dungannon men early in the second period but his effort was cancelled out by Ruairi Slane.

Still, Eoghan Ruadh managed to stay ahead and after Dermot Begley reduced the gap to one, Rory Weir and Ferguson's seventh point of the game sealed victory.

The Antrim hurling final will be contested by Dunloy and Cushendall, who both came through their semi-finals at the weekend.

Dunloy made light work of Glenariffe in Saturday's semi-final, winning 5-21 to 0-6.

Early goals by Keelan Molloy and Ciaran Elliott helped the Cuchullains into a 17-point lead after a first half in which Glenariffe managed just one point.

There was no let-up in the second half as Nigel Elliott cracked home two goals with Chrissy McMahon - on in place of county star Eoin O'Neill, who suffered a serious shoulder injury - adding another.

On Sunday, Cushendall held off Loughgiel to win 2-16 to 0-20.

A Jospeh McLaughlin goal in the first half helped Cushendall into a four-point lead at the half.

While Loughgiel battled back to level in the second period, the returning Fiontan Bradley grabbed a second major to give the Ruairi Og men a lead they would hold until the final whistle.
