“RHOBH”’s Dorit Kemsley Claims Ex PK Is Using Threat of Foreclosure on Family Home as a Tactic in Divorce

Dorit Kemsley claims PK Kemsley is using foreclosure threats as a tactic in their contentious divorce

In court filings, obtained by PEOPLE, Dorit's attorneys claim PK has "ample ability" to pay the mortgage and that there is "no real risk of foreclosure"

The claims come after PK alleged Dorit spent nearly $1 million on luxury goods while mortgage payments were missed

Dorit filed for divorce in April 2025 citing irreconcilable differences and is seeking sole custody of their children

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley claims her estranged husband PK Kemsley is using the threat of foreclosure on the family's Encino, Calif. home as a tactic in their ongoing divorce.

In a response to a request to sell their house, obtained by PEOPLE, Dorit's attorney claims “there is no real risk of foreclosure” on the couple's property in correspondence with PK's legal team. She instead suggests PK, 58, “has ample ability to honor his financial obligations, including making timely payment of the mortgages.”

The claims come as the family allegedly owed $6 million in mortgage payments. In PK's previous filings, obtained by PEOPLE, he claims to have urged Dorit, 49, to work with lenders and realtors to move towards selling the property, but claims she did not want to sell it.

Now, Dorit's team claims the request for order for the sale of the residence is “baseless,” and says if the efforts move forward, Dorit will “inform the court of PK's unwarranted litigation tactics, and she will seek relief and sanctions associated therewith.”

In correspondence between the parties, PK maintains that an immediate, court-ordered sale of the property is necessary to preserve the remaining equity in the home. He suggests using a joint blocked account for the proceeds.

Meanwhile, Dorit claims the foreclosure risk is a part of PK's “starve-out strategy” and financial “gamesmanship.” Her team claims she was not opposed to the sale of the home, but requests “financial guardrails and additional protections against PK's ongoing financial tricks.”

Dorit is seeking PK's records to test his claim of financial hardship while PK argues the dispute should not be delayed by further financial discovery.

In filings obtained by PEOPLE earlier this month, PK claims Dorit spent nearly $1 million on high fashion and other luxury goods amid the missed mortgage payments.

From December 28, 2024 through March 31, PK claims that Dorit spent $995,270 on "wardrobe related expenses" including about $69,000 in charges from Louis Vuitton, another $69,000 from Chanel, $38,000 from Hermes, and $22,000 from Saint Honore between October 30, 2025, and Jan. 6, per the filing.

Dorit initially filed for divorce on April 25, 2025. In the documents previously obtained by PEOPLE, she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split and asked a judge to award her sole legal and physical custody of their children as well as spousal support.

In May 2025, PK responded to the filing by asking for joint custody. Together, the couple share daughter Phoenix, 10, and son Jagger, 12.

Dorit's divorce filing came one day after PK was photographed kissing and holding hands with former Amazing Race contestant Shana Wall, while on a walk after dinner in Los Angeles on April 24, 2025.
