Serena Williams Shares “Raw” and “Unfiltered” Look at Life With Two Young Daughters

Serena Williams shared two new photos of her daughters on Instagram this week.

Olympia, 9, and Adira, 3, could be seen cuddling with their mom in back of a cab.

“Unfiltered. Raw. Just a tired mom with a full heart holding her whole world,” Williams wrote in the caption.

Serena Williams is giving her fans a “raw” and “unfiltered” look at her life as a mom of two. The tennis pro, 45, recently posted a candid Instagram carousel featuring her young daughters.

Olympia, 9, and Adira, 3, could be seen cuddling with their mom in back of a cab in two separate photos.

“Unfiltered. Raw. Just a tired mom with a full heart holding her whole world,” Williams wrote in the caption. “Ready for whatever comes next.”

The athlete shares her two kids with husband Alexis Ohanian. They married in 2017, welcoming Olympia that same year. They expanded their family with the birth of Adira in 2023.

Last month, Ohanian revealed the “one rule” he and Williams have for their daughters. The Reddit co-founder recently explained why their professional ambitions are paramount.

“The one rule in the house is we don’t care what you want to do when you grow up, as long as you do your best at it and you’re doing something useful,” Ohanian told USA Sports on September 18. He also confirmed that Olympia’s “number one” dream job is becoming a fashion designer.

Back in August, Williams shared a rare photo of her eldest child on Instagram.

“Sometimes all I need is her hug,” Williams wrote. She held her 9-year-old daughter close in the sweet snapshot, showcasing her dainty waist-length braids. Olympia wore an all-pink ensemble, while her mom was dressed in purple.

Earlier this year, Williams flashed off her massive engagement ring at Wimbledon—but it wasn’t the only jewel she brought to the tournament. Returning to the competition after a four-year absence, Williams paired a bedazzled manicure with her $2 million bauble.

Williams embraced Wimbledon’s all-white dress code in a custom Nike kit consisting of a mesh tank top and matching miniskirt, letting her glistening nails steal the show. The tennis player’s silver manicure included a giant crystal on each finger, minus the thumbs.
