Stanley Tucci is dishing on the best dishes he tried while filming Masterplan throughout Europe.
The Devil Wears Prada actor, 65, sat down for a PEOPLE in 10 interview ahead of the release of his action-comedy movie Masterplan, which debuted on Prime Video on Oct. 16, and opened up about his cuisine choices while filming abroad.
Masterplan first took him to Italy, including idyllic Lake Como and Rome, the latter where it’s “easy to find great food,” he tells PEOPLE.

“In Italy when you go out to dinner, you’re going to get great food, for the most part,” he notes.
Filming then brought him to Paris, at which time Tucci commuted between the French capital and his home in London, hopping on the train back and forth and spending a few days in both cities every week. During his days in Paris, Tucci became something of a regular at one delicious establishment, he says.
“This little restaurant, called Camille, in Paris, that was right near my hotel,” Tucci says, “and I ate there almost every day.” he says. “Because I didn’t have a lot of time when I was there, so I could walk there and it was easy.
Between his tight schedule, the restaurant’s close proximity and its scrumptious dishes, “it was absolutely amazing,” Tucci adds.

The actor, a known foodie and cuisine connoisseur, has embraced his refined taste in two television travel and food series, 2021’s Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy and 2025’s Tucci in Italy. He also previously shared his culinary knowledge and story in his 2021 memoir, Taste: My Life Through Food.

Tucci’s new movie, Masterplan, follows his character Roger, “a master thief who enlists two strangers for a Louvre heist targeting the Mona Lisa, then reveals they’re his children and siblings who must cooperate to pull off history’s greatest art theft,” a synopsis reads.

The movie, which also stars Victor Belmondo and Simona Tabasco, was reminiscent of the heist movies of the 1960s and 1970s that Tucci grew up with, he told PEOPLE.
“I love the backdrop of it, and I like the complexity of the character,” he said. “I like the ridiculousness of it — because it is ridiculous. But it is also incredibly charming.”
Masterplan is available to stream on Prime Video.
