Sydney Sweeney's courtside appearance at Game 5 of the NBA Finals quickly set social media ablaze, with New York Knicks fans voicing fears that the actress could bring bad luck to their team.
Sweeney, 28, turned up at Saturday night's showdown between the Knicks and Spurs in San Antonio alongside boyfriend Scooter Braun, 44. The Euphoria star rocked a personalized Jalen Brunson jersey-style T-shirt teamed with denim as she cheered on New York.
Fans were fast to point out that the actress appeared to have her jersey on the wrong way around. Sweeney's white top featured Knicks colors and Brunson's number 11, which she unexpectedly wore on the front. It comes just days after a lip reader revealed Trump's desperate 8-word plea as he was brutally booed at the Knicks game.

Taking to social media, fans wasted no time mocking the Euphoria actress over her wardrobe choice, reports the Irish Star. One social media user remarked, "Why does it look like she's wearing it backwards?"
While another continued, "Looks to me like her shirt is on backwards." A third added, "Why is she wearing it backwards though?". Sydney's presence did little to reassure some Knicks supporters watching the game, who rushed to social media to make their feelings known.

"Knicks are losing," one user commented beneath a photo of her. Meanwhile another chimed in, "Spurs are winning."

However, one optimistic fan countered, "Hopefully, she'll be a good luck charm for the Knicks." And the neitzen was right as the Knicks ended up winning the game, gaining the tile of NBA Champions.
Sweeney and Braun had previously attended Game 4 at Madison Square Garden earlier that week. Braun later revealed that Sweeney had surprised him with tickets "in the same section" as his father and brother so he could "share it" with them.
During that game, Sweeney and Braun were seated several rows behind Taylor Swift, as the Knicks clinched a pivotal win. The couple showed their excitement throughout the contest and shared numerous affectionate moments while sitting together. Braun marked the occasion with an Instagram post following the game.

"Still buzzing and haven't slept all night as that was one of the greatest nights of my life. That is what sports and basketball are all about. It brings people together," Braun wrote in the caption, which included videos of him celebrating with his father, Ervin Braun, and his brother, Adam Braun.
At the Madison Square Garden game, Sweeney wore a windbreaker and customized vintage Manolo Blahnik heels featuring a miniature basketball charm.
The couple subsequently made their way to Los Angeles, where Sweeney appeared Friday at a promotional event for her Syrn lingerie brand, dressed in a blue-and-white outfit and sporting a Must de Cartier watch.
It comes after Sydney broke her silence about her alleged feud with Euphoria co-star Zendaya with a bombshell update.
