Travis Kelce‘s ex, Kayla Nicole, has come under fire for her recent post, where she expresses her interest in The Bachelorette. The video comes a week after ABC canceled Taylor Frankie Paul’s season due to her ongoing investigation. Her show was supposed to premiere on March 22, but a few days before, a 2023 incident video dropped, which saw Paul getting violent with her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, in their child’s presence.

Kayla Nicole took to TikTok to share a video to shoot her shot as a potential candidate for The Bachelorette show. She titled the clip “My audition to be the next ‘Bachelorette,” where she lip-syncs to a humorous audio, which lists bizarre qualities on why she could be a perfect fit for the show. She is initially asked to say something cool about her dating profile.

Claiming the weirdest qualities, she replies, “I played professional football for the Dallas Cowboys. I’m an Army vet from Minnesota. I’m Spider-Man. I won Miss America.” When asked to say something that’s true, she added, “Um, Leonardo DiCaprio didn’t really die in the Titanic. He was just acting.” She captioned her video as “Hey @ABC, heard you need a stand-in?” followed by a rose and laughing emoji.

While some positively commented, most people criticized her amid the Taylor Frankie Paul controversy. A user wrote, “That’s one surefire way to put the last nail in that franchise.” Another one said, “Please no.” “She needs to do a lot less,” a third one added. Other reactions also included “Wait until they read her old tweets” and criticism of her potential participation on the show.

Her post comes in light of Paul’s The Bachelorette cancellation and the 2023 resurfaced video of a violent altercation with her ex-boyfriend. In the video shared by TMZ, Paul could be seen physically attacking Dakota Mortensen in front of her little daughter. Moreover, she is under the Utah police’s investigation for a third domestic violence case.
