Justin Timberlake's DWI arrest footage has been released, and it features one of the musician’s longtime friends, Estee Stanley.

The musician, 33, was arrested on a DWI charge on June 18, 2024, after leaving the American Hotel and restaurant on Long Island, N.Y. The bodycam footage from the arrest — which was released on Friday, March 20, despite the star’s attempt to block it — features Stanley.

Timberlake was in his car, trailing behind Stanley and her husband, Bryan Furst, who were in their own vehicle. The stylist-turned-designer, a long-time friend of Timberlake and his wife, Jessica Biel, interacts with police in the footage, even making nods to the father of two's song "SexyBack," as well as "Bye Bye Bye," one of his most iconic *NSYNC tracks.

Here’s what you about Stanley, the longtime friend of both Timberlake and Biel, who was with the "Mirrors" musician at the time of his 2024 DWI arrest.

In the footage, after Timberlake is pulled over, Stanley can be heard asking a police officer what is going on, and later offers to drive, after the officer expresses concern about Timberlake.

When the singer is handcuffed moments later, an officer asks Stanley if she has a way to get home, stating of the pop star, "At this point, he's coming with us."

After Stanley expresses shock and asks why, the officer tells her, "He was driving drunk. He failed every single test," and when she learns that Timberlake will be held at the Sag Harbor police station until the following morning, she asks police if she can give the pop star his phone.

"Can you guys please just do me a favor 'cause you loved 'Bye Bye Bye' or 'Sexyback?' Do me one favor?" she asked.

The footage also showed that Stanley was later given permission to drive Timberlake's car home, as he left the scene in police custody.

Following his 2024 arrest, Timberlake was initially charged with one count of driving while intoxicated and two citations, one for running a stop sign and one for failure to keep in the lane.

Months later, in September 2024, he reached a plea deal, where he agreed to plead guilty to a lesser offense. His lawyer, Edward Burke Jr., maintained that he was “not intoxicated” when he was arrested.

Stanley did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment tied to the video release on March 21.

She got her start a stylist to the stars

Stanley got her start as a fashion stylist, working for clients like Penélope Cruz, Lea Michele, Eva Mendes and Ellen Pompeo, as well as Biel and Timberlake.

According to a 2020 interview for the You've Got This LinkedIn newsletter, Stanley “started in music video styling in my career,” including the video for the *NSYNC track she mentioned in the bodycam footage from Timberlake’s arrest.

"But never forget *NSYNC’s 'Bye Bye Bye' music video! I styled that,” Stanley said in the newsletter. “That one, and I did the Britney Spear’s 'Oops ... I Did It Again.' And don’t forget Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. That, to me, was a big deal. That started a big thing."

She is also an interior designer

Following her start as a stylist, Stanley moved into interior design, lending her talents to homes belonging to stars like Michele, Sophia Bush and Patrick Dempsey despite no formal training in the field.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen marked her first-ever design job, per Forbes. Ashley, 39, praised Stanley to Forbes in 2019, stating, “Approachable, fun, humorous, creative, tasteful and unpretentious are some of the characteristics that make me love her so much on both a personal and professional level. Those qualities are what make her homes distinct and interesting.”

As for why Stanley made the transition from “fashion to designing homes,” she told You've Got This that she “just really enjoy creating spaces and (when I was doing styling, outfits) that make people feel good, happy, peaceful, and confident.”

Stanley is a longtime friend of Biel, and she even styled The Texas Chainsaw Massacre actress on her wedding day to Timberlake.

Asked about some of her favorite career looks, Stanley told You've Got This, "I definitely think that Jessica Biel’s wedding dress, and her whole wedding, everything, was one of the highlights of my career.”

After the stars tied the knot in 2012, Stanley opened up about Biel — whom she called “the cutest” — in an interview with PEOPLE.

The then-stylist credited the actress’s wedding with her noticeable confidence in recent red carpet appearances. “I definitely think any woman changes after [she gets] married,” Stanley told PEOPLE at the time. “I feel like she feels more secure and safe on the planet having found her partner.”

She hosted Biel and Timberlake’s engagement party

Stanley was also involved in Biel and Timberlake’s wedding before they tied the knot, hosting the stars’ engagement party at her Los Angeles home.

“Estee created a very warm, welcoming and festive party for the couple,” a source told PEOPLE at the time, adding that the then-engaged couple “danced and looked very happy” at Stanley’s star-studded bash.

She and Biel opened a kid-friendly restaurant together

Stanley and Biel aren’t just longtime friends — they have also been business partners.

In 2016, tha pair, along with partners Joey Gonzalez, Kimberly Muller and Jonathan Rollo, opened the kid-friendly L.A. restaurant Au Fudge. (The restaurant later closed its doors after two years of business.)

The idea behind the restaurant was to include a neighboring “creative space” for children that included books, wooden toys and optional au pairs to watch kids as their parents dined.

“You, as a parent, can go enjoy your life and not be interrupted by your children,” Stanley told Architectural Digest of the business in 2016. “If you don’t have kids, we have a full bar and we invite everyone to get really drunk.”

“Au Fudge is like a country club or a hotel—there’s something for everyone,” she added to the publication.

She wrote a book

In addition to her styling and design work, and her business with Biel, Stanley also published a book, In Comfort and Style, in 2019.

“This book provides an in-depth exploration of Estee's style and how readers can achieve it in their own homes, according to their own tastes and lifestyles,” reads an official synopsis for the book. “Throughout the pages, Estee invites readers into her world by offering home-decor and accessories imagery from some of her most iconic projects.”

Stanley has helped found several businesses — including The Eye Agency, a talent agency that represents architects, interior designers and landscape designers.

Speaking about the agency with You've Got This, the stylist and designer said she was inspired to found the company after 20 years working with an agent who refused “to negotiate fees for my houses, find me work, deal with clients.”

“We’re the only creative category that had no known representation,” she said at the time, later adding, “I felt this was missing, so I really wanted to make this world very different and protect both the consumer and the artist at both ends.”

She also co-founded Au Fudge with Biel, and, more recently, Gone Bananas Bread, a California-based company that sells heart-shaped banana bread. She frequently appears on the company’s Instagram account.

She is a mom of two

The designer and entrepreneur shares two children, Teddy and Flora, with her producer husband, Furst — who was also with her on the night of Timberlake’s DWI arrest in 2024.

Her kids’ ages are not publicly known, though they are both teenagers as of 2026, according to their ages as listed in a 2019 interview Stanley did with Elle Decor.

Her social media is private

Stanley has a verified Instagram account, which is followed by over 36,000 people, including celebrities like Hilary Duff and Demi Moore.

As of March 2026, the account is private.
