Another hockey romance has hit small screens everywhere.
Off Campus season 1 is adapted from the first book in Elle Kennedy's bestselling book series, The Deal. It centers on Briar University’s star hockey player, Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli), whose academic struggles lead him to seek tutoring from aspiring songwriter Hannah Wells (Ella Bright).
To return the favor, Graham proposes a fake dating scheme with Wells to make her crush, singer Justin Kohl (Josh Heuston), jealous. The plan, however, is derailed when the two begin to develop real feelings for each other.
Beyond the central romance, season 1 also introduces Graham’s hockey teammates and housemates, John Logan (Antonio Cipriano), John Tucker (Jalen Thomas Brooks) and Dean DiLaurentis (Stephen Kalyn), along with Hannah’s best friend, Allie (Mika Abdalla).
Off Campus season 1 came to Prime Video on May 13 and ended on a cliffhanger featuring Dean, Allie and a hot new hockey player, Hunter Davenport (Charlie Evans), leading some fans to guess they might lead season 2.
Creator Louisa Levy told Varietythat season 2 will be off to the races after season 1's press tour. "All eight scripts are written and we have a very exciting plan for the season. I don’t want to say anything yet — but I think book fans will be very excited," she said.

Off Campus season 2 received an early renewal in February 2026, months before season 1's May premiere.
“Off Campus captures the kind of emotionally charged, character-driven storytelling that truly resonates with our global Prime Video audience,” said Peter Friedlander, Head of Global Television, Amazon MGM Studios. “With its passionate fan base, rich source material, and an incredible creative team bringing Briar U to life, we knew that this series had the depth and momentum to continue beyond its first season."

The second novel in the Off Campus book series focuses on Logan, with John Tucker and Dean’s storylines following. While the plot for season 2 remains under wraps, season 1 does end with a surprise appearance that fans of the books will immediately recognize.

The first season closes on a high note, with the Briar University Men’s Hockey Team winning a thrilling game to clinch a spot in the playoffs. But the post-victory celebration quickly gets complicated.
After the win, Allie enlists Dean’s help to get Garrett to Hannah’s musical showcase, hoping to broker a reconciliation between the estranged couple. The plan works, and the whole group heads out to celebrate, but the night takes an unexpected turn.
Dean seizes the moment to confess his feelings for Allie, hoping to turn their friends-with-benefits arrangement into something more. Allie, however, drops a bombshell of her own: she has already slept with someone else.
The shock only deepens when her one-night stand walks through the door. It’s Hunter, someone Dean absolutely despises (a departure from the book series), and a physical confrontation follows with major implications for the future of the team.
Due to season 1 ending with this love triangle exploding, and the focus on Allie and Dean throughout, some fans have wondered if season 2 might diverge from the book order and focus on Dean next.
When Variety asked the cast and crew about these rumors Bright allegedly gave a smile and nod while Levy said, “I don’t want to say anything yet, but I think book fans will be very excited about Season 2.”

India Fowler has been cast in the series regular role of Grace Ivers, Logan's love interest. In a sweet behind-the-scenes moment, the show’s official Instagram posted a clip of Cipriano personally breaking the news to Fowler.
“We’ve found our Grace Ivers. Obsessed with our newest Briar U addition, India Fowler!” the caption read.
Another addition to season 2 is Hamilton star Phillipa Soo, who will guest star as Scarlett, a theater artist brought in to guest-direct an original production for the college’s drama department.
Fowler and Soo join Evans and a previously announced ensemble of series regulars that includes Bright, Cameli, Abdalla, Kalyn, Cipriano, Brooks and Heuston.
